So that the intestine remains your guardian angel

The body's immune system depends on a healthy intestine. Around 80 percent of our entire immune system is located in the intestines. Our intestines not only take care of digestion, but also serve as the largest protective barrier to the outside world. It acts as a barrier and protects the body from the penetration of harmful germs and unhealthy food components. A large number of different bacteria are located in the intestine, especially in the large intestine, which together represent the natural intestinal flora, also known as the microbiome. A balanced intestinal flora and a well-functioning intestinal barrier are vital for our body. However, stress, hectic pace, unbalanced diet, lack of exercise and medication can weaken our intestinal immune system. In order to strengthen our immune system in the long term, the balance of the intestinal flora and the protective intestinal barrier must be maintained.

Lactospore®

The patented probiotic culture Lactospore® contained in ProtectAgil has been examined in more than 72 studies. As live, intestinal-friendly lactic acid bacteria, probiotics are among the “good” intestinal bacteria that settle in the intestine. As “good” intestinal bacteria, they cover the intestinal mucosa and the intestinal wall like a dense lawn and make it difficult for unwanted substances to penetrate. They therefore perform an important protective barrier function. Lactospore® consists of Bacillus coagulans, which is a probiotic bacteria. Lactospore® is stable at room temperature. Other non-patented probiotics generally are not, so they will not survive long once stored outside the refrigerator or freezer. Lactospore® is encapsulated so that the probiotic survives the gastrointestinal passage better and is generally more stable. Clinical studies have shown that it successfully colonizes the intestines.

Vitamin B2

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It is also important for maintaining normal mucous membranes.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is important for the immune system and contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is important for the immune system and contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Biotin

Biotin is important for maintaining the health of mucous membranes. A healthy intestinal mucosa serves as a protective barrier for our body.

Selenium

Selenium contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.

Black Pepper Extract

Pepper extract is included in each of our products to ensure high bioavailability. For this we use the branded raw material Bioperine®. If you want to learn more about black pepper extract then click learn more below.

Acacia fiber

Acacia fiber is one of the prebiotic, water-soluble fibers. They serve as food for bifido bacteria. The metabolism of acacia fibers has a positive effect on the intestinal flora. During metabolism, short-chain fatty acids are formed, which leads to a lowering of the pH value in the large intestine.

Who would benefit from using ProtectAgil?

Would you like to support your intestinal flora after taking an antibiotic? Then taking probiotics and prebiotics is a good decision. Do you have a lot of stress, barely manage to get enough exercise in everyday life and do you always miss out on a balanced diet? Then it may be that stabilization is good for your intestines. Do you feel like your immune system is weakened? You can strengthen your immune system with B vitamins and copper.

Good to know:

Proper intake of probiotics

Taking probiotics in the morning on an empty stomach is most effective because the probiotic bacteria pass through the stomach so quickly and have less contact with stomach acid and digestive enzymes. It is reported that about 90 percent of the bacteria reach the intestines within 30 minutes with this ingestion method. In addition, the pH value of the stomach varies throughout the day: it is less acidic in the morning before breakfast, during meals and in the evening before sleep, and more acidic after meals. If probiotics are taken with meals, these meals should be low in fat (about 1 percent fat), but not too high in fat or protein, as such foods cause increased secretion of stomach acid and digestive enzymes, which attack the probiotic bacteria and reduce their numbers can. A 2011 study confirmed these findings. She examined different intake times and found that most probiotic strains arrived in the intestine undamaged when taken either shortly before meals (up to 30 minutes before) or directly during meals. The least amount of probiotic bacteria reached the intestines was when taken half an hour after meals.

How exactly does ProtectAgil work?

ProtectAgil supports the body's own defenses. B vitamins strengthen your immune system. Biotin is important for a healthy intestinal lining. A healthy intestinal flora strengthens the immune system. Probiotics have a positive effect on our intestinal flora. Probiotics are living microorganisms that occur naturally in the intestines. But they can also be absorbed through food and, for example, dietary supplements. Since the intestinal flora is crucial for our immune system, probiotics can stabilize our immune system. Prebiotics are also important when it comes to intestinal health and harmonious intestinal flora. Prebiotics are indigestible fiber that serves as a food source for the bacteria in the large intestine. They support the growth of your own intestinal flora and thus promote the intestinal colonization of health-promoting bacteria.

How do I know that my intestinal flora is not in balance?

If the composition of the microbiome is no longer in balance, this can become noticeable through various symptoms: Digestive problems such as flatulence, diarrhea or constipation, but also abdominal pain and nausea can be caused by a disturbed intestinal flora. For example, taking an antibiotic may have thrown your intestinal flora out of balance.

What should I pay attention to while taking ProtectAgil?

There are no things you should avoid when taking ProtectAgil. In general, however, it is advisable to adjust your diet while taking ProtectAgil. Should I change my diet at the same time?

Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet or a healthy lifestyle. In general, it is always advisable to eat a balanced and varied diet. You can also influence your intestinal flora through your diet. Would you like to consciously support your body through your diet in strengthening your immune system in the intestines? Then we have a few tips for you here: Consume foods such as meat, highly processed and sugary foods sparingly. Alcohol also promotes the growth of bacteria that can put strain on our intestines. However, your intestines will be happy about a variety of vegetables and fruits. Fiber in particular has a positive effect on your intestinal flora. An intake of at least 30 g per day is recommended. Foods containing fiber include legumes, whole grains, but also various vegetables. Fiber serves as food for the intestinal bacteria and thus promotes growth. Lactic fermented foods contain probiotics. You can also do something good for your intestines and therefore your immune system with yogurt, kefir and also sauerkraut.
