Characteristic: Silver fir essential oil is colorless to yellow and has a thin consistency. Its scent is woody-fresh, clear, dry to spicy-forest. In terms of duration, intensity and effect, it is assigned to the top notes.

The oil dissolves easily in alcohol, vegetable oils and other essential oils. It is almost insoluble in water.

Silver fir essential oil is a powerful support for our immune system. It is also often used for tiredness and lack of energy.  

Silver fir essential oil is assigned the following properties in the specialist literature:

• anti-infectious  

Manufacturing

Silver fir oil is obtained from the branches of the pine tree through steam distillation.  

Hints

Pay attention to the hazard warnings on the label. The bottle is equipped with a child-proof cap and vertical dropper. To dose the essential oil, hold the head of the bottle vertically downwards so that you can then count the individual drops. After opening for the first time, depending on the consistency of the oil, it may take some time until the first drops appear. Attention: Essential oils are concentrates that may only be used diluted! Some of the ingredients in silver fir essential oil are considered to pose a health risk if used on the skin or if ingested. It contains potentially allergenic ingredients that can cause skin irritation in sensitive people. It must not be used in cases of bronchial asthma or whooping cough or in the eye area. Silver fir essential oil is not suitable for internal use in pregnant women, infants and small children. All pine needle oils readily form peroxides with oxygen, which can have sensitizing properties. Therefore, special attention must be paid to the freshness of the essential oil for therapeutic applications.

How can aromas affect the body?
