cypress oil - Cupressus sempervirens
The cypress family (Cupressaceae) has over 100 species, such as the Mediterranean cypress. It is also called the real cypress or columnar cypress and can reach 4 to 6 meters in 10 years. It was originally native to the eastern Mediterranean and has now spread throughout southern Europe to North Africa. Depending on the region, the flowering period of the real cypress extends from January to the end of February. Depending on the location, the seeds ripen in the summer or late autumn of the 2nd Silvery-grey cones develop every year and until the seeds are ripe. The cypress oil is obtained by steam distillation of the branches, needles and cones of the real cypress (Cupressus sempervirens).
Effect of cypress oil on health problems

Characteristics of the essential oil of cypress bio
The oil is a normal, clear to yellow liquid. It has an intense, aromatic, fresh, slightly medicinal scent that later develops into a sweet, woody scent. In terms of length of stay, intensity and effect, it is one of the heart notes with a strong tendency towards the base note.
The essential cypress oil dissolves well in alcohol, vegetable oils and other essential oils. It is almost insoluble in water.
The natural components of the natural essential cypress oil include
Pinene, 3-Carene, Limonene, Camphor, Linalool, Cedrol u.a.
Contents: 10 ml 100% natural essential oil - 1 ml corresponds to approx. 20 drops
Put 5-8 drops of essential oil in the bowl filled with water in the aroma lamp or wet the aroma stone directly with it. In combination with other essential oils, reduce the amount as desired.
Fragrance mixture for air purification:
3-4 drops of grapefruit or bergamot or orange, 2-3 drops of cypress.
Fragrance mixture for concentrated staying power:
3 drops of cypress and 2-3 drops of cedar.
Storage: Store away from light at temperatures of 15 to 22 °C and out of the reach of children.
Note the hazard warnings on the label. The bottle has a childproof cap and vertical dropper. To dose the essential oil, hold the bottle upside down so that you can count the individual drops. Depending on the consistency of the oil, it may take some time after opening for the first time until the first drops can be seen.
Caution: Essential oils are concentrates that may only be used diluted! Essential cypress oil is well tolerated on the skin. Due to its strong astringent effect, it should only be used on children in low concentrations via the fragrance lamp or not in infants. It is not suitable for use during pregnancy, in infants and small children.
